Job summary

Claibon Recruitment is seeking a Building Manager for a luxury residential development in Marylebone, London. The role focuses on safe operation of common areas, concierge-style service, and upholding lease covenants.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in a similar position, be proactive, personable, and capable of managing staff and contractors while ensuring H&S compliance and budget control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar Building Manager role.
• Familiar with residential building documentation (lease, ASTs).
• Experience with Mechanical & Engineering manuals, drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient operation of all building common areas.
• Deliver high-quality concierge-style service to residents.
• Maintain property standards and respond to issues.
• Manage staff and contractors to meet KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and leases.
• Lead a team of Concierge staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Chair and participate in team and contractor meetings.

Building Manager

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

50,000 up to 60,000 depending on experience

Experienced 5 Building Manager needed to be the primary point of contact for this luxury residential development in Marylebone. You will be required to ensure the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of all common areas and building systems. The Building Manager will deliver high-quality concierge-style service, maintain property standards, manage staff and contractors and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and lease covenants. Duties will include inspiring and leading a team of Concierge staff, working effectively with contractors, identifying innovative and efficient ways in which to deliver a world class lifestyle concierge provision, chairing and participating in team and contractor meetings, ensuring agreed Key Performance Indicators for internal and third-party contracts are being evaluated and recorded, increasing H&S awareness and promoting a positive H&S culture, and managing the site budget. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years prior experience in a similar role, familiarity with residential building documentation including the lease, ASTs, Mechanical and Engineering manuals, drawings, engineer reports, compliance certificates and PPM planners, excellent professional communication skills, be proactive and personable.
