Morgan King is representing a well-established Electrical, Building, and Property Services company operating in Essex, Kent, and across the UK. We are seeking a BMS Engineer eager to develop and grow within our team.

This role involves regular travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays, depending on project requirements (with prior notice provided).

About the Role

The BMS engineer will carry out service and maintenance work, callouts, and installations on existing customer BMS control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with various software types
• Perform electrical maintenance and callouts
• Repair and replace control equipment, including wiring and fixtures (actuators, control modules, wall controllers & valves)
• Fault-finding and installing control panels
• Install distribution boards
• Select and install suitable cables for the type and nature of installation
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics
• Complete tasks in a timely and productive manner
• Work independently or as part of a team on various projects
• Complete risk assessments and user notes for each job
• Adhere to health & safety standards and company policies
• Attend relevant training courses to enhance skills
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site
• Be flexible with working hours, including potential weekend work

Skills & Qualifications Required

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• 2391 or equivalent
• Experience installing or maintaining BMS control systems
• ECS Gold Card
• 18th Edition Certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Punctuality and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
