Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer for a highly automated site in Amesbury, Wiltshire. You will carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated production lines, supporting uptime and efficiency on a 4 on 4 off night shift.

You'll work in a fast-paced logistics environment, with ongoing improvement projects and a strong focus on safety, quality, and long-term career development within the business.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
• Experience with PLC fault finding is advantageous.
• Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated and semi-automated equipment.
• Minimise downtime and support production targets on a 4 on 4 off night shift.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

Job Role of the Building Maintenance Engineer. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Building Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, highly automated site in Amesbury. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, continuous improvement projects, and state-of-the-art production lines, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long-term progression.You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding highly automated environment.Working on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Building Maintenance Engineer

• building maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.


• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.


• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern.

Requirements for the Building Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
