We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Building Maintenance to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.

What you'll do:

1. Assist the technical team with maintenance and reactive repairs, ensuring the safe operation of M&E building services and equipment, while working under guidance and in line with training requirements.
2. Support intrusive maintenance activities across the portfolio, adhering to the Permit to Work system and following Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
3. Proactively identify and report faults with site equipment, taking steps to resolve issues and ensuring all health and safety concerns are escalated as needed.
4. Maintain clear communication with client staff regarding service levels and report any service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal client updates.
5. Stay flexible with tasks and site attendance, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and participate in training, including health and safety sessions, to enhance competency.

What you'll bring:

1. Demonstrate a professional attitude, positive mindset, and strong communication skills, with the ability to handle tools safely and efficiently in all tasks.
2. Possess a solid knowledge of health and safety practices, with flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines.
3. Have experience in building services engineering, with the physical fitness to handle lifting and the ability to work in restricted or confined spaces and at heights.
4. Be proficient in MS Office and hold a valid driving license, ensuring the ability to manage tasks and transportation as needed.
5. Display a willingness to succeed, take on new challenges, and prioritize tasks effectively to maintain high standards of performance.
6. PASMA trained, with expertise in working safely with access equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
7. Asbestos trained or awareness course certified, demonstrating a clear understanding of asbestos handling and safety protocols.
8. Low Voltage AP/CP (AP2 Qualified), with the necessary qualifications to safely work with low voltage systems.
9. L8 Water awareness trained, ensuring compliance with water hygiene regulations and safe practices in water systems management.
10. Proficient in Permit to Work control, including experience with working at heights and hot works, to ensure safe execution of high-risk activities.
