Manchester City Council is seeking a Class 2A Building Inspector to ensure compliance with building safety legislation and council standards in a busy urban environment.
You will play a key role in delivering safe, inclusive and sustainable buildings, supporting major projects and partnerships across the city while developing your professional skills within a supportive team.
Working Hours: 35 Hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Additional Payments: £4000 Market Rate Supplement and Essential Car Allowance

Qualification – Registered as a Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator as Class 2A
Professional Registration Body Membership – Suitable associate or student membership of RICS, CABE, CIOB or similar professional body/institution

This is an essential role that has a critical bearing upon the council's ability to meet statutory obligations for ensuring buildings comply with relevant building safety legislation and contributes significantly to the council's resilience capabilities.
