Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.

TheLibraries, Galleries and Culture Service bring together high quality universal services which underpin learning, engagement and support the priorities of the City Council. Library, Information and Archives Services are delivered at a neighbourhood level; together with access to and activation of services through partnership working and engagement.
We have an exciting opportunity for a role which will help with the operation of libraries across the city and support the promotion of the service, including social media, leading on content creation for the library service.
This role will assist the Libraries Management Team with day to day operational management of library services across the city - particularly at weekends. The post will help deploy staff across libraries, support with time-sheeting and will assist with overseeing Managing Attendance processes and monitoring of training and individual development. The postholder will also need knowledge of health and safety compliance requirements across libraries.
The post holder will also support the marketing, communications and promotion of the library service - including the creation of social media content.
The postholder will work unsocial hours. The postholder will work every Saturday and Sunday and some evenings to meet the needs of the service.
The right candidate will have a proven track record of working in a library service, achieving positive results. You will also need knowledge of library based systems for timesheeting. The postholder will require understanding of library byelaws and statutory guidance, knowledge of library systems and processes.
You must be adept at promoting services, including social media content creation, and assessing the success of libraries promotion. You must have skills and experience of creating content on multiple social media platforms.
You will have an innovative customer focussed approach to work.
You will also have the provenability to work both independently and in a team, and havestrong interpersonal skills.
This post involves working every Saturday and Sunday to support the operations of the library service and deployment of staff across the libraries, so you must be prepared to work unsocial hours.
