Anonymous is seeking a Building Facilities Supervisor in London to oversee the maintenance, fabric enhancements and service delivery of our Docklands site. You will lead building management projects, ensure safety compliance, and manage CAFM assets while liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.

The role is permanent and on-site, with a clear focus on continuous improvement, reporting, and ensuring energy-efficient facilities in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in building management, service delivery and infrastructure.
• Proficient PC skills: Word, Excel, Outlook; able to analyse data.
• Strong reporting skills with evidence-based conclusions.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and audits.
• Able to communicate at all levels and work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the existing building fabric and grounds and deliver fabric enhancements as part of a Strategic Plan.
• Manage project works for maintenance or enhancement of buildings, including RAMS, permits and completion sign-off.
• Ensure site compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and Business Continuity legislation.
• Maintain procedures and records for fire safety, environmental management and power continuity.
• Track incidents, complaints and non-conformities; respond promptly and collaboratively.
• Support audits and provide evidence of compliance when required.
• Manage assets in the CAFM system and plan ongoing maintenance and costs.

Salary: £52,000 + On Call Allowance £2,300 + excellent benefits (travel allowance, bonus scheme, pension, health insurance)

JOB OVERVIEW

The Building Management Team are responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the buildings, including efficiency, quality and fabric across the site, ensuring that all buildings are maintained in compliance with industry best practice, legislation and relevant ISO standards, that they are energy efficient and serve our clients teams and customers perfectly.

The role takes ownership of delivering building management projects aiming at continuous improvement of service quality and environment.

Key tasks:

• To maintain the existing building fabric and grounds, and responsibility for the planning and delivery of fabric enhancements as a Strategic Plan
• To manage the project works relating to the maintenance or enhancement of the buildings, including RAMS, permits and completion sign off.
• To ensure site compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and Business Continuity legislation for fire safety, environmental management and business continuity practises.
• To maintain procedures and records to include but not limited to; risk assessing against all fire separation, detection and fighting systems, environmental and continuity process to for fuel and generator power, etc.
• To ensure tracking of all building support related incidents, customer complaints and non-conformities are documented and acted upon in a timely and collaborative manner.
• Responsible for supporting audits and supplying all required evidence of compliance where and when required
• Managing assets within the CAFM system as they are impacted by fault, repair or enhancement, correctly managing associated costs and ensuring and ongoing maintenance is planned and completed.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience of building management, service delivery and infrastructure, and managing teams
• PC literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to analyse data
• Excellent proven reporting skills and ability to draw fact-based conclusions, then act on the evidence
• Good knowledge of compliance and various standards, and evidence of previous achievement in this area
• Good knowledge of statutory requirements and familiarity with audits, plus evidence of success in meeting requirements
• Ability to communicate at all levels, within the business and with suppliers.
• Well organised, logical and determined character able to work both alone and with others.
