The University of Warwick is seeking a Building Fabric Officer to lead internal trade staff and contractor support, guiding a skilled team to maintain building fabric and public realm in line with service level agreements.

You will manage maintenance projects using university processes, collaborate with estates colleagues, and provide hands-on training to staff to ensure safe, reliable facilities for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Dynamic team player with excellent communication skills.
• Able to organise and manage multiple projects.
• Experience working with a multidisciplined workforce.
• Proven track record in building/estates industry, preferably in a university environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of skilled craftsmen and guide internal trade staff and contractors.
• Assist in managing the Building Fabric Services section and maintenance of building fabric and public realm.
• Ensure all statutory maintenance requirements are completed and documented and that planned/reactive maintenance meets SLAs.
• Manage and deliver maintenance projects using university processes and systems.
