Job summary

Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is seeking a dynamic individual to join a small Building Control team. You will measure plans accurately to support Surveyors, assist with Street Naming and Numbering, and help collect Building Safety Levy while contributing to excellent customer service.

You will be motivated, quick to learn, and able to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver quality places and sustainable growth for the Borough.

Qualifications

• Possess or be working towards a BTEC ONC in Building Studies.
• Experience in a building control environment is desirable.
• Be a team player with a positive approach and willingness to contribute to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Building Control service to deliver inspection services.
• Measure plans and documents accurately to support surveyors.
• Support Street Naming and Numbering and the collection of Building Safety Levy.
• Liaise with stakeholders to help deliver sustainable growth and quality places.
