Job summary

North Worcestershire Building Control is seeking a fully qualified Building Control Surveyor to join the team in Bromsgrove. You will undertake plan checks, conduct site inspections and handle enforcement alongside dangerous structures duties as part of a professional building control service.

You must hold Class 2A Certification with a full driving licence and be prepared to work within a modern, customer-focused shared service.

Qualifications

• Registered Building Inspector to Class 2 A–F with full experience across plan vetting, site inspections and enforcement.
• Full driving licence held is essential.
• Willingness to adhere to Building Safety Regulator competency framework and codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Undertake plan application assessments and site inspections.
• Manage enforcement and dangerous structures duties as part of building control functions.
