We are looking for a Registered Building Inspector to play a key role in supporting our next phase of development. This is a hands-on role where you will undertake building control functions in accordance with the Building Act 1984, Building Regulations 2010, Building Safety Act

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Building Inspector.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret Building Regulations and contract lifecycles for instructed works.
• Work as part of a team, supporting peers, Assistants and Trainee Surveyors.
• Provide professional advice in a customer-focused environment with clear, audience-appropriate delivery.
• Cross-sell CHPK & Celnor services to offer a full suite of support.
• Engage in Continued Professional Development Training to sustain high standards.
• Examine plans, specifications, calculations, fire strategies, and related docs submitted under Regulations.
• Assess applications for building regulation approval and provide technical support to applicants and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with Building Safety Regulator and other statutory bodies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
