Job summary

Celnor Group, a UK-based environmental services group, is recruiting a Registered Building Inspector in Bournemouth. You will undertake building control functions under the Building Act and Regulations, collaborating with colleagues to ensure high standards of delivery, compliance and continuous improvement.

The role is hands-on in a fast-paced, technical environment, offering ownership, problem-solving, and a tangible impact on client outcomes within the consulting department.

Qualifications

• Registered Building Inspector credential or equivalent
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Interpret Building Regulations and lifecycle processes for instructed works.
• Collaborate with peers, Assistant and Trainee Surveyors.
• Provide professional, audience-appropriate advice to clients.
• Cross-sell CHPK & Celnor services to ensure a full suite of support.
• Pursue ongoing Professional Development Training for service delivery.
• Examine plans, specifications and fire strategies submitted under Building Regulations.
• Assess applications for building regulation approval and provide technical support.
• Maintain relationships with Building Safety Regulator and other bodies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to compliance and quality standards
