Job summary

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils in Ipswich are hiring two Admin and Technical Support Officers for Building Control. Full-time and part-time posts available, with hybrid working and a pro-rata salary for part-time.

You will support the Building Control team with inspection requests, invoicing, Street Name & Numbering, Land Charges, and the Building Safety Levy administration, while providing reports to Inspectors and senior staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in Word and Excel, emails and calls.
• Able to follow documented procedures with training.

Responsibilities

• Handle inspection requests, queries, applications, payments and invoicing.
• Administer Street Name & Numbering, estimate and collect fees.
• Assist with Land Charge searches information discharge.
• Administer Building Safety Levy and reports for Inspectors.
• Provide reports to keep managers informed and ensure compliance.
