Job summary

Centrick Limited is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, safety and performance across our residential and commercial developments. This role sits within our Build to Rent and Asset Management portfolios, requiring strong stakeholder collaboration and a proactive approach to delivering value.

Working with Asset Managers and site teams, you will ensure high standards, manage budgets and supplier performance, and drive compliant operations across Build to Rent and asset

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building services and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing contractors, procurement and tendering processes.
• Good financial awareness, including budget management and cost control.
• Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites, competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions–focused approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections, identify risks and ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
• Lead tendering and procurement processes, negotiating contracts and securing value for money.
• Ensure statutory compliance, accurate records and timely completion of remedial actions.
• Support long–term maintenance planning, capital expenditure projects and building lifecycle strategies.
• Contribute to service charge budgets, monitor expenditure and manage costs against agreed client budgets.
• Monitor service levels and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve performance.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to coordinate maintenance, manage risks and maintain service standards.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of developments, ensuring smooth operational and compliance handovers.
