Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Assistant in Ramsgate to support a sociable 19-year-old with autism and complex needs. You will help with personal care, daily routines, and community activities, ensuring safety and encouraging independence.

The role requires British Sign Language, care experience, and a valid UK driving licence. Flexible hours include weekends and evenings; DBS check, training, and a sleep-night option may be provided.

Qualifications

• British Sign Language trained (essential).
• Experienced in care (essential).
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, in the home and in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for independence.
• Safely assist with tracheostomy care and PEG feeding as needed.
• Support social activities and community access for the client.
