TeacherActive is working with a good school in Grantham to appoint a BSL Teaching Assistant. The role is full-time and temporary starting in September, with potential extension for the right candidate. Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language / BSL.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children/young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; patient and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted classroom support to students using BSL.
• Support communication, engagement and access to learning.
