Philosophy Education LTD. is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a Greenwich secondary school to help pupils with hearing impairments in a specialist unit.

You will work with 11–18 year olds, requiring a BSL Level 2 or 3 qualification and knowledge of Makaton to translate spoken language into BSL within a classroom setting. This is a full-time role, Monday–Friday, with hours to be confirmed and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• BSL Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is required.
• Knowledge of Makaton is preferred.
• Strong English skills to adapt materials for Deaf students.

Responsabilités

• Support 11–18 year old pupils with hearing impairments in a specialist unit.
• Translate spoken language into BSL competently within a mainstream classroom.
• Support daily activities from Monday to Friday; hours confirmed.
