Job summary

Sense is seeking a female Community Companion to support individuals with complex disabilities in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. The role focuses on helping clients stay connected and independent, including appointments, admin tasks, and community activities.

You must be a confident BSL user (Level 2 or above) and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Working days are typically Monday to Friday, 9.30am–4.30pm, with some Saturday afternoon shifts possible.

Qualifications

• BSL fluency level 2 or higher is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with daily tasks.
• Assist with post and calls, and administrative tasks.
• Attend social groups, community activities and outings.
• Support clients to build confidence and independence.
