Position: Brush Plating Technician

The Brush Plating Technician reports to the Production Manager and performs electrochemical brush plating on customer-owned and sample parts for production, OEM, repair, or refurbishment. Work is conducted either in-house or at customer locations in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

1. Perform plating using appropriate equipment and solutions as per company processes.
2. Follow all plating instructions detailed on route cards, customer drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions.
3. Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for quoting.
4. Support the Sales team in resolving technical customer queries.
5. Design and create tooling and fixtures to facilitate efficient plating processes.
6. Travel as required to meet customer delivery expectations.

Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions from diagrams, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using quality control gauges, micrometers, callipers, ball gauges, and dial indicators.
• Problem-solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
• Awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
