Job summary

Guillam Coffee House in London is seeking a passionate Café Brunch Chef to lead brunch kitchen operations, crafting eggs, salads, toasties, granola, and pancakes with seasonal ingredients.

You will work with the Head Chef, manage stock, maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure consistent presentation during brunch hours while thriving in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role offers 5 shifts per week, 35–40 hours, two days off, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a good-quality establishment using fresh produce.
• Solid understanding of stock control and ordering processes.
• Good knowledge of kitchen health and safety and food hygiene standards.
• Reliable, organized, and able to perform well under pressure.
• Passion for creating exceptional brunch dishes and sandwiches.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Cooking a diverse range of brunch items delivering high-quality dishes.
• Working independently while supporting the wider kitchen team as needed.
• Assisting with menu execution and daily kitchen organization.
• Managing stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness.
• Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served during brunch hours.
• Maintaining an organized, efficient, and clean workspace.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
