Job summary

Dear Diana, an independent neighbourhood café in London, is seeking a talented Chef to join our growing kitchen team and maintain high brunch standards.

You will prepare and cook our brunch menu, keep food presentation exceptional, help with prep and mise en place, and contribute ideas for seasonal specials. Level 2 Food Hygiene or willingness to obtain it is required. We offer staff meals, discounts, training, and a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Brunch, café or restaurant kitchen experience required.
• Passionate about quality ingredients and great food.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Takes initiative and maintains high standards during busy periods.
• Holds Level 2 Food Hygiene (or willing to obtain).
• Works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook brunch menu to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain excellent food presentation and attention to detail.
• Assist with daily prep and mise en place.
• Help develop seasonal specials and new menu ideas.
• Ensure food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained.
• Work efficiently during busy service while remaining calm under pressure.
• Support the Head Chef and collaborate with the team.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and well stocked.
