Job summary

SUPERDRUG on Belfast Ann Street is seeking a threading specialist to provide expert beauty treatments and friendly, professional advice to customers, ensuring the best possible in-store experience. You will deliver threading, tinting, waxing, piercing and lash lift services and receive in-house training.

The role offers 20 hours per week at £14 per hour, plus 28 days' holiday, staff discounts of up to 30%, and opportunities for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy or threading certification.
• 1 year+ professional threading experience or waxing accreditation preferable.
• Strong customer service and upselling skills.
• Confident in engaging with customers and recommending treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide threading, tinting, waxing, lash lift and brow services.
• Offer expert advice and upsell services and products.
• Maintain high sanitation and customer care.

In this role, you will provide expert beauty treatments and professional advice to our customers, ensuring they enjoy the best possible in-store experience. You will be offering the following treatments:

• Threading
• Tinting
• Facial & Brow waxing
• Korean Lash lift
• Brow lamination
• Ear and Nose piercing

We offer in-house professional training in Threading, Tinting, Waxing, Piercing & Korean Lash lift, Brow lamination and Lash extensions.

About You

• Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy and/or possess a relevant threading certification or have 1 year + professional experience in threading. An accreditation in waxing is preferable.
• Have a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
• You are happy offering ALL of the treatments above as part of your role.
• Are confident in engaging with customers, recommending treatments, and upselling products and services.
• Are truly passionate about all things beauty, keeping up with the latest trends and techniques.
