Job summary

Superdrug in Edinburgh Fort is looking for a Threading Specialist to join our beauty team. You will provide threading, tinting, waxing and brow/lash services, offering expert advice to ensure customers enjoy the best possible in-store experience.

We provide in-house training on threading, tinting, waxing, piercing, brow lamination and lash extensions. Benefits include competitive pay, discounts, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy or threading certification or 1 year threading experience.
• Waxing accreditation is preferable.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and upselling where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide threading, tinting, brow waxing, lash lift and brow lamination.
• Offer professional beauty advice and upsell services and products.
• Deliver an outstanding in-store experience and maintain high service standards.

Shape Brows with Expertise - Join as a Threading Specialist and Perfect Every Look.

Location: Edinburgh Fort

Hours: 2x 20hrs and 1x 25hrs per week. We require full flexibility to ensure we can cover all 7 trading days. As this store has a strong history with threading, there's real potential to gain more hours for someone who can help rebuild and grow the service.

Salary: £14.00 Per Hour

The Role!

Join our team of skilled therapists who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. In this role, you will provide expert beauty treatments and professional advice to our customers, ensuring they enjoy the best possible in-store experience. We're also extremely proud to work with some of the most trusted and professional beauty brands in the industry, like Beauty by Ellie, Lash Perfect & Studex, all helping us to deliver the very best professional service to our customers!

You will be offering the following treatments:

• Threading
• Tinting
• Facial & Brow waxing
• Korean Lash lift
• Brow lamination
• Ear and Nose piercing

We offer in-house professional training in Threading, Tinting, Waxing, Piercing & Korean Lash lift, Brow lamination and Lash extensions.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate, professional, and ready to make a difference in

every client's day. You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy and/or possess a relevant threading certification or have 1 year + professional experience in threading. An accreditation in waxing is preferable.
• Have a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
• You are happy offering ALL of the treatments above as part of your role.
• Are confident in engaging with customers, recommending treatments, and upselling products and services.
• Are truly passionate about all things beauty, keeping up with the latest trends and techniques.
