I’m currently working in partnership with a London Market broker seeking a Broker Technician to join their specialist team. About the Role
As a Technical Services Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both pre-inception and post-placement activities. You'll be responsible for processing technical documentation, including evidence of cover, premium processing, bureaux submissions, credit control, and file/record management. You will also provide wider technical support to the team and assist with client and underwriter correspondence when required - ensuring all documentation meets client needs and adheres to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a range of technical documentation related to Marine and Aviation risks
• Support premium processing, bureaux submissions, and credit control
• Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation
• Liaise with underwriters and clients as needed
• Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory and company quality standards
• Provide general technical support to the wider team

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical support role within the (re)insurance industry
• Solid understanding of the London insurance market
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Cert CII qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Marine and/or Aviation market knowledge
