Our lending products reduce the friction involved in accessing finance and through our powerful cash flow management platform we empower small and medium‑size businesses to succeed. We have supported hundreds of SMEs across the UK with £100M+ funding.

We are a friendly and collaborative team with a fast‑paced and high‑performing culture. We are a fintech headquartered in London but have a distributed team across Nigeria, South Africa, and London. We’re backed by world‑class investors and since closing a £49M debt and equity Series A we have scaled our loan book by 5x in the last year.

About the job

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and driven Broker Manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen combined with modern efficiency skills (AI and automation), be able to onboard and nurture exceptional relationships, and be driven in helping us achieve our exciting commercial goals.

As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Lenkie's core go‑to‑market channel, identifying opportunities to grow our customer base, and collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Knowledge and experience in broker relationship management at a lending business is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • New business: expand our network of brokers and referring partners. Research, pitch and onboard new brokers, industry partners, and support their funding applications.
  • Relationship management: build exceptional relationships with existing partners through clear communication and speed of service, including travelling within the UK for in‑person meetings, pitches and events.
  • Product expertise: provide brokers and referring partners with an in‑depth understanding of our product, from a software and a lending perspective.
  • Market analysis: articulate why brokers and customers should choose Lenkie, using deep market insight.
  • CRM management: maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of interactions using our CRM system and execute account‑management plans.
  • Collaboration: work closely with new‑business sales, account management, credit and tech teams to ensure a best‑in‑class customer experience and retention.
  • Continuous improvement: provide feedback on sales strategies, messaging and product offerings to drive ongoing enhancements.
Qualifications / Required Skills
  • Experience: minimum of 2‑3 years in a broker‑facing role, with knowledge of the UK SME finance market.
  • Track record of excellence: evidence of out‑performance in your career.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Organisation: strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Adaptability: thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities, objectives and technology.
  • Team player: collaborative mindset, humility and effective teamwork.
  • Tech savvy: comfortable using sales, communication and efficiency tools such as CRM, AI tooling, data reporting and social media.
How We Reward Performance
  • Very competitive salary and incentive scheme.
  • Hybrid work culture, with 3 days per week working from our Holborn office.
  • Opportunity to accelerate your career in a fast‑growing fintech.
  • Impact on the lives of small business owners globally.
  • Regular team and company socials.

We’re building a diverse, inclusive, and supportive team where everyone can do their best work. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, and we do not discriminate based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
