Job summary

Cambridge & Counties Bank is seeking an Asset Finance Relationship Specialist to manage day-to-day relations with asset finance brokers, handle proposal uploads and broker communications, and oversee documentation for successful payments. You will be the primary broker contact alongside Underwriting and Operations.

The role offers hybrid working across Leicester, Manchester, Reading or Sheffield, with a salary of £40,000-£50,000pa and a suite of benefits designed to support career development

Qualifications

• Experience in asset finance sales, external facing with brokers.
• Understanding of financial services acts and conduct risk.
• Good financial and commercial awareness.
• Strong sales and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Solid working knowledge of financial accounts.
• Desirable: understanding of Treating Customers Fairly.

Job description

Location: Leicester, Manchester, Reading or Sheffield (with hybrid working)

Salary: £40,000-£50,000pa

We are looking for people to join our Asset Finance Team to manage the day-to-day relationships with a number of asset finance brokers.

This would include uploading of proposals, communications with our brokers, and management of the documentation for successful payment of deals.

You would be the prime point of contact for brokers, along with our Underwriting and Operations teams.

Could you effectively contribute to ensuring that we are regarded by the broker base as a "go to" funder? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

About you

• Experience in an asset finance sales role, ideally externally facing and dealing with brokers.
• An understanding of the relevant rules under the financial services acts.
• An appropriate level of financial and commercial awareness
• Appropriate sales and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, time management, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Able to demonstrate a good working understanding of financial accounts
• A good understanding of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements is desirable
