Sky is seeking an Operational Support Manager in Osterley to lead the technical management team, driving recruitment, training, and development while ensuring top-tier operational delivery. You will balance people growth with performance and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.

You’ll collaborate with Technical Managers and the Senior Manager to align training with evolving industry trends, ensuring efficient resource use and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams with a strong focus on performance management.
• Experience within broadcast operations with a balance of people growth and operational delivery.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record in people development and training leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical management team’s recruitment, training and development strategy.
• Deliver effective performance reviews and personal development plans.
• Establish mentoring relationships and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Work with Technical Managers and Senior Manager to align training with industry trends and technologies.
• Ensure efficient resource management aligning team skills with production needs.
• Stay up to date with broadcast and production technology trends.
• Foster a positive, engaged and motivated team environment.
• Maintain open and effective communication, keeping the team aligned with business goals.
