Job summary

Frame 25 in the United Kingdom is seeking a Broadcast Network IT Support Specialist to support, maintain, and optimise core network infrastructure, including firewalls, compute environments, VMs, and cross-platform servers. You will engage with technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders to ensure reliable operations.

Key duties include configuring LAN/WAN networks, monitoring security controls, applying patches, and creating accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, multi-VLAN environments and Layer 3 routing.
• Experience configuring firewalls and enforcing IT security policies.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft server technologies: AD, DNS/DHCP, SMB Shares, Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and configure LAN/WAN networks and VPNs.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, PKI, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network performance, apply patches, and perform system upgrades.
• Manage TCP/IP networking, multi-VLANs, and Layer 3 routing.
• Maintain IT security controls and firewall policies.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
• Provide support across Windows, Mac, and Linux servers/desktops.
• Monitor and optimise core infrastructure performance.
• Troubleshoot IT faults promptly and efficiently.
• Develop workflows for Broadcast IT operations.
• Guide engineers, operators, and production staff through complex scenarios.
• Plan maintenance activities balancing risk and client impact.
• Escalate with vendors and stakeholders as required.
• Proactively support IT systems with wider technical teams.
• Ensure processes and workflows are up to date.
