Job summary

Global in London’s Leicester Square is seeking a Broadcast Engineer (Projects Focused) to support live broadcasts, podcasts and video content. You will install, commission and upgrade studios, and document technical systems while working with production teams across live events and on‑site facilities.

You’ll be hands‑on with IP networking, audio‑over‑IP tech, and broadcast platforms, ensuring reliable operations and rapid fault resolution in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Live broadcast experience in a production environment.
• Strong fault‑finding skills and calm problem solving under live pressure.
• Understanding of audio signal flow, studio systems and radio automation platforms.
• Knowledge of video production, ingest, streaming and IP networking.
• Familiarity with IP‑based broadcast systems and audio‑over‑IP tech.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical projects: install, commission, upgrade and document broadcast facilities.
• Support live broadcast operations and quickly resolve faults to minimise disruption.
• Work across broadcast tech: studio audio, routing, playout, and video systems.
• Partner with production teams to provide practical technical support for events and OBs.
• Maintain documentation and participate in incident/change management and on‑call rota.
