Job summary

Gravity Media in High Wycombe is seeking a Cable Assistant for a developmental, entry-level role in the broadcasting industry. You will work with a team to safely load and unload OB trucks at our warehouse, with training to learn the various cables used in broadcasting.

Using load lists to ensure correct cables and quantities are loaded, you may work weekends as part of a rota, and occasionally assist with driving duties or on-site rigging to gain hands-on experience in Outside Broadcast setups.

Qualifications

• Developmental/entry level role in broadcasting.

Responsibilities

• Loading of OB trucks as per load sheet.
• Unloading of OB trucks.
• Testing and maintaining cables (training provided).
• General warehouse duties.
• In-house fibre splicing (training provided).
• Representing Gravity Media values at base in High Wycombe or onsite locations.
• Occasional driving jobs.
• Occasional on-site rigging assistance.
