Job summary

Vision for Education are recruiting dedicated and reliable Support Staff to work within welcoming secondary schools across the BS15 and BS16 areas of Bristol. Roles include Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Support Assistant or 1:1 support for students with additional needs.

Positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis, working Monday to Friday between 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Experience in schools, youth work, care, coaching or support work is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons, 1:1 and in small groups.
• Encourage engagement, confidence and independence.
• Support students with additional learning or behavioural needs.
• Promote positive behaviour throughout the school day.
• Build strong relationships with students and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
