Job summary

bk plus is seeking a motivated bookkeeper to join the team in Brighouse on a part-time basis. Responsibilities include VAT returns, ledger reconciliations, and potential preparation of basic monthly/quarterly management accounts under supervision.

The role requires at least 2 years’ bookkeeping experience and proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext. Some MTDis desirable, with on-site work in Brighouse, UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with at least 2 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext to raise invoices and log expenses.
• Understanding of MTD (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• VAT Return preparation and filing of VAT returns.
• Bank, Sales, Debtor/Creditor, and Purchase ledger reconciliation.
• Be able to prepare basic monthly/quarterly management accounts with supervisor support and review.
• May involve some general office administration.
