Job summary

BK Plus in Brighouse is seeking a motivated part-time Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. The role involves VAT return preparation and filing, plus bank, sales, debtor, and creditor ledger reconciliations.

You will work with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext to log expenses, raise invoices and support monthly/quarterly management accounts under supervision. Minimum two years’ bookkeeping experience required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper with at least 2 years' experience.
• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext for invoicing and expense logging.

Responsibilities

• VAT Return preparation and filing.
• Bank, Sales, Debtor/Creditor, and Purchase ledger reconciliation.
• Prepare basic monthly/quarterly management accounts with supervisor support.
• Assistance with general office administration.
