Stellar Select Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Bridging Finance Underwriter to assess and underwrite bridging finance applications in line with our credit risk policy, from application to completion.

You will review credit searches, valuations and Land Registry reports, and prepare concise credit rationales and lending recommendations while managing a case pipeline and liaising with solicitors and introducers.

Qualifications

• Essential - 2+ years' experience underwriting bridging finance within a specialist lender.
• Understanding of the bridging lifecycle from application through to completion.
• Proven ability to assess risk and produce clear, concise credit rationales.
• Experience managing a case pipeline through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of valuations, credit searches and lending due diligence.
• Advantage: refurbishment or development finance experience.
• Advantage: experience with structured lending or drawdown facilities.

Location: Milton Keynes Hybrid 3 days WFH

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

About the role of Bridging Finance Underwriter

We are recruiting for an experienced Bridging Finance Underwriter to join a growing specialist finance business in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will assess and underwrite bridging finance applications in line with credit risk policy, while managing cases from application through to completion and supporting intermediary partners with new enquiries.
