Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Bridges & Civils Team Leader in Teesside to drive delivery of major highway and rail schemes across the UK. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee packages and projects, and ensure profitability, programme, and quality.

You'll bring a Civil Engineering background, Chartered status sought, and strong client relationship management with National Highways and Network Rail. The role offers hybrid working and a path to chartership.

Qualifications

• Design, maintenance, inspection and supervision of civils or structures in highway/rail environments.
• Experience with bridge design, maintenance, inspection and assessment.
• Ability to develop scopes, manage budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with clients like National Highways or Network Rail.
• Ability to review design documents, drawings and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of packages and projects, ensuring profitable delivery to programme.
• Support project resourcing and financial control.
• Collaborate with specialist groups across UK projects.
• Apply civil engineering deliverables across highways, rail or local authority settings.
