Job summary
M Group Highways in the UK is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our highways maintenance team. You will contribute to design, inspection, and assessment of bridges and other structures, helping deliver projects on time and within budget.
The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and experience with structural drawing and detailing, plus familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and LUSAS. Chartered status encouraged and CSCS preferred.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering degree at Bachelor or Master level.
- Experience in design, maintenance or construction of bridges or large structures.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes or highways standards required.
Responsibilities
- Assist inspections and surveys of existing highway structures.
- Contribute to design and assessment of bridges and other structures, including structural models.
- Prepare documents such as AIPs and inspection reports.
- Assist in construction drawings, specifications and health and safety information.
- Support concept design and feasibility reports and technical approvals.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
