As an experienced bridge engineering technician, you will play an integral role in the design and delivery of our projects. You will be supported throughout by our teams in the UK and Ireland.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Production of engineering drawings and details of bridges, retaining walls and other civil structures
  • BIM coordination
  • Production of reports
  • Document control/ management
  • Provision of assistance with bridge inspections and site visits

As an experienced bridge engineering technician, you will play an integral role in the design and delivery of our projects. You will be supported throughout by our teams in the UK and Ireland.Main duties and responsibilities:

  • A relevant qualification (minimum UK Level 3 qualification - BTEC, NVQ or equivalent) and/or hold/will shortly achieve the title of EngTech or IEng with the ICE, IStructE or equivalent
  • A minimum of three years' relevant experience
  • Flexible, motivated and focused
  • Good technical knowledge and bridge engineering understanding
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to produce quality design outputs
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM and software interoperability
  • Comfortable working in a busy work environment with tight deadlines
  • Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Bridge detailing skills, in particular reinforcement and steelwork
  • 3D modelling
  • Ability to use a range of software packages, such as CADS RC, Civil 3D, Revit, BIM, Navisworks
