Jacobs is recruiting a civil/structural engineer to join our team delivering bridge and structures projects across highways, rail, aviation and energy. You will contribute to feasibility studies, concept development and detailed design, working with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical and sustainable solutions for major UK infrastructure.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience delivering bridge or structural engineering projects within a consultancy, contractor, local authority or infrastructure environment.
Strong structural analysis, engineering design and practical problem-solving capability.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Motivation to continue developing professionally and progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

Work on bridge and structures projects from feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams on practical and sustainable engineering solutions.
Contribute to projects for clients including High Speed 2, National Highways, Network Rail and local authorities.
Support decision-making, design development and delivery to achieve safe, reliable infrastructure.
