Jacobs is seeking an engineer to shape UK transport and infrastructure projects, delivering bridges and structures from feasibility to detailed design. You will work with experienced engineers across disciplines, applying technical insight from early studies through delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering bridge or structural engineering projects within a consultancy, contractor, local authority or infrastructure environment.
• Strong structural analysis, engineering design and practical problem solving capability.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Motivation to continue developing professionally and progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Work on bridge and structures projects from early feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to solve complex structural challenges.
• Develop practical and sustainable engineering solutions for clients including major transport projects.
• Contribute to projects for clients such as High Speed 2, National Highways and Network Rail.
