Job summary

The Vale Academy in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, is seeking a Bridge and PLC Manager to join on a permanent, full-time basis from November 2026. You will work as part of the Deep Support team to promote learning and welfare by leading the Bridge and PLC facilities within the academy.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high attainment in a rural community while working within Delta Academies Trust, which supports staff development and a wide range of employee benefits.

The Vale Academy are looking to appoint a Bridge and PLC Manager to join our academy in November 2026 on a permanent, full time basis.

As the person overseeing both Bridge and PLC, you will work as part of the Deep Support team to promote the Learning and Welfare of vulnerable students and those who experience barriers to learning by supporting and leading the Bridge and PLC facilities within the academy.

Your new school

The Vale is a successful and high achieving 11 to 18 academy which has an excellent reputation and an established trend of high student outcomes, which are consistently above those achieved nationally. Indeed, 2025 outcomes placed the academy first in the local authority with attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths at 77% and 65% respectively and an attainment score of 51.6.

The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school.
