Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a Brickwork Tutor (Trainee or Qualified) for a centre-based role in Hemel Hempstead. The position is full-time and permanent, offering up to £35,000 per year depending on skills and experience, with a focus on delivering Level 2/3 Bricklaying training, embedding Maths and English, and supporting learners through assessments.

You will plan sessions, monitor progress, provide guidance on progression, and contribute to a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 NVQ in Bricklaying.
• Experience delivering vocational training or on-the-job training to colleagues/Apprentices.
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET – fully funded and supported by employer.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Bricklaying.
• Ideally have experience delivering training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Must be IT Literate.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards a Level 2 vocational qualification in Bricklaying within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
