Job summary

South Bank Colleges is seeking a skilled Brickwork Technician to join our Construction team at the London South Bank Technical College campus. This hands-on role supports practical teaching by maintaining workshop spaces, equipment and materials to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for staff and students.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, have recent brickwork experience, and be knowledgeable about health and safety and safeguarding

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline.
  • Recent industrial or commercial experience in construction or brickwork.
  • Experience maintaining equipment and managing workshop materials.
  • Strong working knowledge of health & safety and equal opportunities legislation.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn sector‑specific software.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Skills & Experience
