Monarch Education in the Midlands is seeking a skilled Brickwork Lecturer to join a well-established college campus in B31 starting 01/09/2026. This 12-week temporary role offers 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, delivering brickwork theory and practical sessions to learners aiming for industry readiness.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Brickwork qualification and a recognised teaching qualification, with proven UK-based teaching experience.

Brickwork Lecturer – B31 – September 2026 Start

Applications without the required Brickwork qualification (Level 3) and teaching qualification, alongside UK-based teaching experience (evidenced on your CV), will not be considered. We are currently recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic Brickwork Lecturer to join a well-established college campus in B31. This is a 12-week temporary assignment starting on 01/09/2026, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a successful Construction department and support learners progressing into the brickwork and construction industry.

Contract Type: Temporary Contract (12 Weeks)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Qualification Required: Must hold a Level 3 Brickwork qualification and a recognised teaching qualification

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A recognised teaching qualification and the ability to deliver Brickwork programmes
• A Level 3 qualification in Brickwork or relevant subject specialism
• Strong industry knowledge across bricklaying, blockwork, cavity wall construction, setting out and current industry standards
• Experience delivering both practical workshop-based and classroom-based learning
• The ability to engage, motivate and support learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals
• Excellent classroom management skills and workshop health and safety awareness
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, industry-relevant Brickwork lessons and practical workshop sessions
• Ensure all practical activities are completed safely and in line with awarding body requirements and health and safety legislation
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate learner records
• Support learners of varying abilities and provide additional guidance where required
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and professional learning environment
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, learner welfare and professional practice
