Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a proactive and skilled Brickwork Technician to join a well-established Further Education college in Birmingham on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis.

You will help deliver Brickwork and Construction programmes, prepare workshops, maintain bays and equipment, support lecturers and learners, monitor stock, perform routine tool maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Brickwork, Construction, or a related trade.
• Industry experience within brickwork or the wider construction sector.
• Strong practical knowledge of bricklaying tools, materials, and workshop environments.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements within construction settings.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in an educational environment is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to play a key role in supporting the delivery of Brickwork and Construction programmes.
