Job summary

Northbrook College in Worthing is seeking a Lecturer in Brickwork to share industry practice, inspire learners and guide the next generation of tradespeople. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality bricklaying teaching, developing practical skills and building confidence.

You will hold Level 3 Bricklaying, Level 2 English and Maths, and bring relevant industry experience alongside strong health and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Bricklaying qualification or equivalent.
• Level 2 English and Maths qualification or equivalent (GCSE C/4+).
• Relevant industry experience.
• Solid health and safety knowledge in construction.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake teaching activities in the brickwork curriculum.
• Develop learners' technical skills and industry knowledge.
• Ensure inclusive learning and responsive student support.
