Job summary

Brooksby College, part of the Loughborough College Group, is seeking a Lecturer in Brickwork to deliver across the department's provision. You will bring a passion for innovation, embedding new technologies into the learning environment and work as part of the Construction team to develop courses.

You will possess excellent Brickwork knowledge, be able to plan and use a range of effective teaching techniques, and be willing to obtain or already hold a teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge in brickwork relevant to the industry and teaching.
Ability to write schemes of work and manage assessment records.
Willingness to obtain a teaching qualification if not already held.

Responsibilities

Write schemes of work and lesson and review plans.
Manage formal assessment process and records.
Support learners through their programme and qualification aims.
Devise and implement learning/assessment plans for each learner.
Undertake tutorial and pastoral duties with learners.
