East Surrey College in Merstham seeks an inspirational Brickwork Lecturer to join the Construction department, delivering teaching and learning to Brickwork students across levels 1–2 and acting as a personal tutor for Level 1–2 learners.
You will promote attendance, prepare lesson plans, contribute to planning and develop the subject area. The role includes course leadership, QA processes and assessing students' work.
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Brickwork Lecturer to join our friendly and professional Construction department. In this exciting role you will have responsibility for delivering teaching and learning to our Brickwork students across levels 1 - 2. Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager and the rest of the Construction team, you will have the chance to share your Brickwork industry knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor for Level 1&2 students, promote attendance, participate in team meetings, prepare lesson plans/Schemes of Work and contribute to the overall planning, development and review activities within your subject area. You will also act as a course leader, complete quality assurance processes and assess students work.
