Job summary
Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Bricklayer and Roofer to join the Responsive & Planned Repairs Team. You will report to the Site Agent and handle emergency repairs, general maintenance, and planned work for tenanted properties within the borough.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Bricklaying or related field.
- Proven experience in managing repair and maintenance projects in occupied properties.
- Strong knowledge of building methods, regulations and health & safety standards.
- Full valid driving licence is essential and CSCS card desirable.
Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance for council properties.
- Manage and coordinate multiple repair projects with timely, high-quality completion.
- Ensure health and safety compliance through site inspections and measures.
- Mentor apprentices and contribute to employee development and appraisals.
- Accurately complete documentation for housing repairs and paperwork.
