Job summary

Beyond Housing Limited is seeking a skilled bricklayer for our complex repairs team in Scarborough. You will perform a range of internal and external brick repairs, install lintels and groundworks, and undertake basic plastering, roofing, and joinery tasks to ensure first-time fixes.

You may mentor apprentices or volunteers; a full UK driving licence is required, and strong bricklaying knowledge is essential. The role offers enhanced tool allowances and other benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Bricklaying or equivalent trade experience.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in internal and external brick repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external brick repairs.
• Install lintels and groundworks as part of repairs.
• Perform basic plastering, roofing repairs and joinery.
• Carry out plastering, tiling, pointing, paving and drainage tasks.
• Mentor apprentices, volunteers or work experience placements when needed.
