Job summary

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a skilled Bricklayer to join a reputable construction contractor on site in Alfold. This temporary, full-time role requires a reliable, detail‑focused individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team, delivering high quality brickwork across residential and commercial projects.

You will read technical drawings, follow project specifications, maintain health and safety standards, and keep work areas clean and on schedule.

Qualifications

• CSCS Skilled Worker Card required.
• Proven bricklaying experience on residential or commercial sites.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of site safety and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bricklaying, blockwork, and masonry tasks to a high standard.
• Lay bricks, blocks, and mortar accurately in line with project specifications.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and measurements effectively.
• Work safely, following all site rules and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain excellent timekeeping and deliver work within agreed schedules.
• Communicate clearly with site managers, trades, and labourers.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Assist with general site duties when required.

Are you an experienced Bricklayer?

You will be responsible for delivering high quality brickwork across residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards, site specifications, and health & safety requirements.

Qualifications

Essential:

• CSCS Skilled Worker Card

• Experience with blockwork, stonework, and decorative brickwork
• Additional construction-related tickets (e.g., PASMA, IPAF)
